I thought I would take a picture of the handmade cards so that everyone can see what I've been receiving. They are amazing.
My first day home from the hospital I received some cards from people I didn't know and I was puzzled. I didn't know that Stephanie had started a card campaign so I wondered why I was receiving handmade cards from strangers. When I got more cards on the second day my mom let me know why and sent me the initial email that Stephanie sent out. Did someone sign me up for the make a wish foundation? Nooooo....Kelli's friend was nice enough to start this all on her own, without having ever met me. There truly is kindness in strangers. I plan on paying it forward, I think it's a great idea and next time I have a friend or family memember or hear of someone they know that is in need I plan on starting a card campaign of my own. I love to make things and scrapbook so it's a perfect thing to give and receive.
Thanks so much Stephanie for starting such a kind gesture, getting handmade cards in the mail on almost a daily basis has brightened my days!
