Ike Ike Ike

Karsen is also in love with bikes! He is not impressed with his pedal-less Radio Flyer anymore that he got for Christmas. He wants a big boy bike. He likes to be pushed around on a big bike. Shaun and I went bike shopping and ended up with a Big Wheel. Once we got it home and semi put it together, Karsen didn't want anything to do with it. Back in the box it went. The next day was our community yard sale so I got up early and went hunting for a bike. I found a perfect one for $10.00..score. I also bought a helmet for $1.00. Safety score. Karsen loves his new "ike". It's a bit too big for him still, but I'm sure in the next month or two he will have it down pat. He can pedal a few times, but his feet slip of the pedals. Shaun uses bungee cords to strap Karsen's feet to the pedals and that seems to work better. Karsen still prefers to be pushed. It's harder to lean over and push him on the bike, I prefer the can on a scccchtick.
