Friends~Food~Feet & Footwear

Ahhh some of my favorite things! Well, feet aren't my favorite, but getting a pedicure is! It's something I treat myself to once a year. I didn't get one last year so that might entitle me to 2 this year. On Thursday I met my friend Becky and we went and got pedicures, had lunch at Red Robin and then shopped. We accomplished all of this KID FREE! That itself is a treat nowadays. Here is a look at my pretty pedicured toes..

In some aspects it's relaxing to get a pedicure, but in other ways not so much. I love sitting in the massaging chair and sticking my feet in the blue bubbly water. I also like it when they rub my feet and legs with lotion. However....I don't like how they all speak their native tounge and I have no idea what they are saying. They don't even talk to me, they just tap either my right or left foot when they want me to put it up or down. For all I know they could be telling eachother "this girl has sock fuzz".

After our pedicures we went and had lunch at Red Robin. If you have never been here, it's awesome! I love their Wisky River Barbeque Chicken Burger or the wrap. After lunch we went to Khols because I had to return some "shorts" I got Shaun. Well at least I thought they were shorts, they were actually swim trunks..ha! Oops..I guess I should have looked in them.

Becky had to head home after we went to Khols so I took myself to Shoe Carnival. My intention was to get Karsen some brown sandals. I've been looking everywhere for some and couldn't find any I liked or that were in his size. I found some at Shoe Carnival though....score! Well Shoe Carnival had a buy one get one 1/2 off sale so I bought myself some shoes. I had a $100 rebate card from AT&T that was burning a hole in my pocket. I got 3 pair of shoes for myself and 1 pair of sandals for Karsen and only spent $37.00 after I used my rebate card..yay. I am ADDICTED to Skechers. I can't get enough of them. They are super comfortable and I can wear them to work as long as they aren't tennis shoes. They look cute with capris or pants. Here are the recent pairs I bought (the last pair that are grey I bought from JCPenny's a few months ago):

So I pampered myself for a day and didn't have to spend too much money. I love getting a Skechers fix!
