The Lion King

For our anniversary I ordered tickets to go see the Lion King musical at the Murat Theatre. Our tickets are for November 21st so we have a long wait. I can honestly say I am not a fan of musicals. I can't stand to watch a musical movie where they keep breaking out into song and dance. HOWEVER..I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Lion King and anything to do with it. It's one of my favorite movies ever. My parents have seen this musical and said that it is a must see and absolutely amazing. My mom said it was one of the neatest things she's ever seen. I've been reading about it online and looking at pictures and I'm already amazed. I'm a huge picture taker so it's going to kill me to not be able to take pictures of everything I see that night. I guess I'll have to store this night away in my memory. I love the interaction between Timon and Pumba. I have that song that Timon sings memorized..and downloaded on my Ipod. "Are you hugry for a fat and juicy piece of meat, eat my buddy Pumba here because he is a treat, come on down and dine on this tasty swine all you have to do is get in line....are you achin? (yup yup yup) for some bacon? (yup yup yup) he's a big pig, you can be a big pig too...OYE. This just cracks me up, kudos to the writers!
