Popcorn & Soda Reviews

I have a confession....I'm in LOVE with a new soda....Mountain Dew's Voltage is so tasty, I've drank like 5 of them and I've been trying not to drink very much soda. It tastes just like a blue raspberry slushie from Dairy Queen:) I am a huge fan of blue raspberry flavored anything fyi. Mountain Dew is having a DEWmocracy competition between 3 new flavors and whatever flavor with the most votes wins. I am going to vote over and over for Voltage..YUM! Here are the 3 flavors:





What goes better with a tasty soda than some popcorn??? I recently discovered Act II's Buttery Cinnamon popcorn. It was alright, tasted like butter and cinnamon. I guess I am just a traditional butter and salt on my popcorn kinda gal, although I do LOVE kettle corn from the Covered Bridge Festival. I felt like I was tricking my tastebuds when I ate this popcorn, I knew it was popcorn, but my mind was telling me no. It reminded me of eating the chocolate flavored Skittles I tried recently (gag by the way), I knew it was Skittles...but it was so wrong that they were chocolate flavored and not fruity. Another candy gone wrong is the buttered popcorn flavored Jelly Belly jelly beans...quadruple GAG! There is nothing worse than thinking you are eating a lemon jelly bean and getting popcorn instead. I also saw a "Grapple" at the store the other day. It was an apple, but I guess it tasted like a grape. I didn't try them because they were expensive and you had to buy a 4 pack. Hey you know what else tastes like a grape?......GRAPES..huh.
