Rascal Flatts & Taylor Swift

I went to the Rascal Flatts & Taylor Swift concert last night, it was awesome! I went with my mom, my aunt and my cousin. We met at my cousin's house and then headed to Mo's Irish Pub for an early supper. We sat outside and ate, the weather was perfect and the food was good. We did a bit of shopping at the Noblesville Town Center mall before we faced the crowds at the Verizon Wireless Music Center (formerly known as Deer Creek). We have seats in the back part of the pavillon. It was HOT out and our seats were in the sun. We sat in the sun for an hour and a half waiting for the concert to start and for the sun to go down. I didn't take my camera because I didn't know if I was allowed to or not and I would have hated to get up to the gate and have to go all the way back to the car to take my camera back. Cameras were allowed so I wish I would have taken mine now! My cousin had her cell phone on her so she took this picture of mom and I.
Both Taylor Swift and Rascal Flatts were awesome of course. I would have liked to have heard them sing though, I mostly just heard the teenaged girls sitting next to us and behind us singing along as loud as they possibly could. The concert was over at 11:15 so we hussled back to the car to try and get out. We sat in the car for an hour and didn't move! It was the biggest traffic jam and mess. We knew it would be, but jeez. That is the worst part about going to a concert. We finally got out and made it back to my cousin's house at 12:30 and then mom and I drove back to my house and got there at 1:15. My dad was there and he was still up so we sat and talked for awhile. I went to bed at 2:15, but couldn't fall asleep. I was dead tired though! It took me over an hour to fall asleep, what a long night.
