Model Material

Mom and I took Karsen to get his pictures taken today. I decided (2 months late) that I wanted to get Karsen's 1 year old pictures taken professionally and save myself some pain and suffering of doing them myself. We went to Portrait Innovations in the Metropolis mall in Plainfield. We had a blast! Karsen did excellent and we got some awesome pictures. I got the beach scene I was after and then some. We only got to change his outfits 3 times though because they were heavily booked that day. Drats...I took a whole bag of clothes. My secret to get Karsen to smile for pictures is snorting. Yeah..I snort like a pig and he thinks it's hysterical. FYI it's really hard to snort and try to hold a camera steady when taking your own photos. Anywhoo...while doing the beach scene I was jumping around and snorting like a pig. It was like a horrible re-inactment of Lord of the Flies. If you read that book in school then you should be laughing right now. Here are pictures of the cutest baby ever.... PS if you are reading this and ever talk to my father in law, don't spill the beans that I had these pictures taken. I'm giving him some for Father's Day.
